#introductions since this where the newbies are looking. Hi, welcome. Here's a few things you should probably know.
-Don't call the network 'Mastodon'. A better term is the 'Fediverse'. Mastodon instances are the most common, but instances of GNU social, pleroma, and others are part of the fediverse.
-The fediverse is decentralized. There are cultural differences. Dont assume each instance has the same rules and ideals, cause some will disagree with you.
