I am so fucking livid. A tenor in my community chorale can't park as close to the music building as he feels is his due, due to some construction on campus. So he was yammering on about how clearly the university has more money than it needs and so he called his state legislators to complain that they give us too much money. He's a classic case of "I've got mine, so damn the rest of them." No clue about the university's funding sources (we only get 20% of our budget from the state). No clue about the daily lives/realities of our largely older, employed, and minority student body. Just an old,white man acting like an entitled ass. Fucking piece of shit.
