If anyone was interested in my Android client saga, I've settled on Tusky. That's the best I've found so far.

Not sure I can do it from the mobile interface but when I get home, I want to mute an entire instance. I bet you can figure which one out.

I'm impossibly frustrated with my users right now.

We had to replace 15 Windows VMs for remote users. We gave them a heads up that it was coming, that they had to save all their settings and bookmarks, and that the passwords would be reset.

So of course everyone is asking why they can't login and where their bookmarks are when the do again.

Discovery's visual elements are so weird because of "legal reasons". This isn't the first time I've heard this.

@CobaltVelvet Is there a way to hide the "Getting Started" column on the web interface for Octodon? Or replace it with, say, the Federated Timeline?

Mildly annoyed at how much software - even open source software - is Windows-only.

I wanted to use something called clrmamepro, only to find out hey, they tell you to use Wine / Crossover.

Dadgum it. I wish I knew more about programming.

"Wallpaperize" found in the #elementaryos AppCenter is nice.

It lets you drag and drop any picture and create a wallpaper of any resolution by zooming and blurring to create a soft border around the original image.

So last night Sega announced ports of Shenmue I + II to PS4, XBO and Steam/PC.

They'll offer 1080p (on PC, at least - not sure about PS4/XBO) and widescreen support, but they've done absolutely no "remastering" of textures or models.

Then they announce a Mega Drive mini -- which AtGames has come out and claimed as their project. It'll probably use the same code base & chipset as the Genesis Flashback HD.

I have EmojiOne Swap installed for Chrome but my emoji on elementary OS (in Chrome) are still the stupid ol' black and white outlined emoji.
