This is all new territory for me...

I really want to get the money together so I can petition the court to legally change my name.

I actually had the money available, but spent it on getting our car brakes and tires and new headlights and stuff. I felt like all that was really important -- and it was -- and it was my decision -- but darn it. I want my new name.

@electrotamitha There's a lot of "show, don't tell". They separate the brothers quite a lot, presumably because Al cost a lot to animate? So Winry is around a lot more than she should be.

No one has enough time to develop. You're told things are important or emotional but not allowed to feel it for yourself.

Major characters are missing. Major character motivations are altered. Plot points are smooshed for the sake of getting to the next bit so the movie can scream, "REMEMBER THIS?"

We watched the live action Fullmetal Alchemist movie and... WOOF.

How could a song be as audibly perfect as Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire", and yet have such inane fucking lyrics?

Related to a conversation I participated in the other day, here on Masto.

This weekend I've got some big projects... I'm gonna pick up groceries (thanks ClickList for not making me go INSIDE the store)

I'm gonna try switching out my headlight assemblies and rear deck speakers in the car

I'm gonna go to Gamestop (yuck) and trade in 3 games to try and walk out with 1 new game.

And I'm gonna clean up around the apartment, maybe start moving furniture.

That's a lot for me....

Saban and Bandai have announced they're splitting up - BOA will no longer make action figures for Power Rangers after 2018.

I'm shocked. I'm finding it hard to understand, particularly as Bandai will continue to partner with Toei on Super Sentai

The new partner has not been announced, with Hasbro or Mattel rumored... but I'm calling it for Jakks Pacific.

I'm very curious to see if more comes out at Toy Fair this weekend.

I'm still completely in shock.

With the way the new THQ has jumped at Switch, I can't help but wonder if we'll see ports of Saints Row...

I started watching the Jdrama "Video Girl Ai 2018" today and somehow binged through 5 episodes.

The subs are *terrible*, but the *show* is compelling. I'm gutted that it's ongoing and that I've exhausted the English subs released to date.

I ran here to escape social media drama and US politics. So please forgive me if I actively avoid both here, too.

Prozac, Spironolactone and Estradiol have been amazing for my self confidence.

Season One finale of Discovery tonight and, mm. Well. Hmm.

Given we aren't expecting Season Two until 2019... they left us on something I expect nerds (like me!) to hem and haw and debate and argue for a long time indeed.

Actually I think I'm just going to leave Snap after this UI change. I really only use it to stalk celebrities and tried to stay in touch with my half-sister...

But that's been a huge mess and I think she's ignoring me? We go through these phases where she stops replying... and has never reached out on her own. Just. Gross.
