ST: Disco Season Show more

I'm not sure if the timing is a coincidence but shortly after rejoining bird site I spend a lot of my time obsessing over my feed...

And now I feel like my mental state is worsening.

@patdavid I should try again, it's been some time since I used GIMP. But I seem to recall after I would input text and place it, if I tried to click the text and alter it, a new element would be created.

@patdavid @GIMP

I have not kept up with GIMP, is the font tool improved? Is text editable via the text tool?

Oh hey, bird site's down. Again. Hmmmmm.

@frostotron@tenforward.socialI definitely agree. I don't know how much of that was studio interference and how much was production, but I wish Trek had more GAY.

@CobaltVelvet So when I "pin" the local and fed timelines, all it does is push "getting started" out to the right...

I want someone to talk Star Trek with.

If anyone was interested in my Android client saga, I've settled on Tusky. That's the best I've found so far.

Not sure I can do it from the mobile interface but when I get home, I want to mute an entire instance. I bet you can figure which one out.

I'm impossibly frustrated with my users right now.

We had to replace 15 Windows VMs for remote users. We gave them a heads up that it was coming, that they had to save all their settings and bookmarks, and that the passwords would be reset.

So of course everyone is asking why they can't login and where their bookmarks are when the do again.

Discovery's visual elements are so weird because of "legal reasons". This isn't the first time I've heard this.

What the heck happened with Star Trek? (This is reminding me of the K-9 saga.)

@CobaltVelvet Is there a way to hide the "Getting Started" column on the web interface for Octodon? Or replace it with, say, the Federated Timeline?

@lopsigon Do you know a way of hiding the "Getting Started" column in the web interface?

@emmykei I have! I really love that website. lol

Mildly annoyed at how much software - even open source software - is Windows-only.

I wanted to use something called clrmamepro, only to find out hey, they tell you to use Wine / Crossover.

Dadgum it. I wish I knew more about programming.
