I caught a glimpse of some police footage and I just saw a cop give a dog a pat down.

The dog and his owner walked to the cop who was giving pat downs. The cop just reached over, patted down the dog neck to tail with both hands, and then moved on to the human.

Did the cop want an excuse to pet the dog? Did he think the dog had a gun? That was bizarre.
