Just gone through the fun of setting up a new Windows 10 computer for someone. It's a bit of a chore:
- Disable Cortana
- Remove all tiles from Start Menu
- Remove search bar, people icon, default Windows applications from the task bar
- Uninstall Skype (it's probably still there)
- Run Edge, get Firefox, remove Edge
- Install SpyBot Beacon to halt surveillance.
I kept the last step for last hoping Microsoft got analytics about everything I've done up to that moment

I use WinAero Tweaker to set the anti-telemetry rules

Oh wait no, it's WinPrivacy... Tweaker is just to fix some of the other annoying stuff like the fact that One Drive exists
