Emacs is still not great at async, so fetching new toots from the timeline is rough, but this is still neat!
@pinkpony Yeah.... :slight_frown: People have gotten clever with background processes, but it still blocks way more than it should. Guilemacs should fix it, I'm sure it'll happen right after the year of the linux desktop :zipper_mouth:
@drjeats I certainly enjoyed my text editor stopping to respond to anything whenever it decided it's time to fetch something, back when I used emacs.
