apparently i'm just doing it wrong
This place needs a) a filter-by-language feature, and b) an option to subscribe to various instances so I can watch more than one without having to watch all of it.
So, what's up?
Randomly, I'm finding that Mastodon is a weird combination of too quiet and way too noisy. No comfy middle ground. Hm.
good morning, tooters :bee:
g'marnin' :crab:
Just spent the day updating every listing in two of my Etsy shops. Eeyah.
marnin' :cowboy:
The result of yesterday's derpy photoshop experiments. π
An earlier art. Another collagraph, this one made with card, wrapped string & shellac. Printed with oil-based etching ink on 300gsm watercolour paper.
"Will Mastodon make any money?" scream the journalists, who have forgotten the joy of building sandcastles on the beach
Farting about with photoshop. Mmm...colours...
Puttering when I should be focusing. My todo list for today is epic and I really should get started on it, but oooh look i have to reboot everything because computers are dumb. Ugh. Hi.
Another art -- this one is an original photograph, modified heavily. I've actually sold a couple of copies of this one, which is always lovely π
I am playing minecraft, and no one can stop me. Still my favourite braingum. :hugging:
On editing (not really, it's about Mastodon).

Here's a different sort of print I made. This is a collagraph print, where the plate is made with nothing but folded paper and glue (and varnish), then inked and printed on my itty bitty home press.
The image itself is ~4x4", and is oil-based etching ink on 300gsm watercolour paper.
I really enjoy this technique and am planning to do an extensive series of collagraph monotype miniatures one of these days.
I just realized that Mastodon is awesome because it's all just people. My twitter stream is mostly a relentless flood of posts from not-people. I like it here.
Eeeyah, did I seriously get the first #mfbt on mastodon?
Friday night game night and I'm making ribs. So many ribs. #mfbt
