Can't find anyone talking about the #linuxrocks instance, which was pretty near 1000 users. It's been down over 24 hours. Domain evidently expired. Current DNS info shows Noah Chelliah as potential new owner (Ask Noah guy?) - no idea what all this means. Just can't believe it isn't being discussed on Masto...

What if your instance server just goes offline without explanation? Obviously it’s a bit late for downloading your profile, followers, etc. And yes, it might come back up tomorrow, but long outages do not inspire confidence.
Does anyone know how to find out the admin contact info for an instance once the site is down? (linuxrocks.online - FYI)

tfw - you have to sign up with a new instance because your main instance is down - but you can't export/import your followings because --- your main instance is down... *le sigh*
