So.. My boyfriend tried to search for #Sweden/ #Swedish today... He ended up mainly finding #switter listings, not people speaking Swedish so he could practice.
I saw someone else bringing up that location hashtags in general have been swamped with switter.
Suggestions came up about something algorithmic to deal with it. Which is an issue in and of itself. Something we don't want to do.
Question to @switter are the listings feature you added separate, or federated?

@donblanco I mean, I'm fine with you joking with me. But i'm actually trying to have a real conversation about what we can improve, in my role as a PM for Mastodon, I want to work out these things with the community.
You know? (I don't want the people I tagged in to get tons of joke replies every time I write something public)
@maloki sorry, didn’t intend to copy them. Also I guess I need to just follow personal accounts. I don’t want to have to analyze and scrutinize every toot just to avoid a faux pas. Carry on
