@lightweight what if you understand it but still loathe it? :(

Srsly, I need something like 'versioning for non-programmers' that isn't silo'd or centralized. And is easy/and/or automated. I just want versioned backups of things here and there, I'm not programming nor am I part of a team. I just write things.
