@dmoonfire btw, fascinating idea: Magic meets machine. There is a reason most magical societies are set in pre-Industrial ages.
@Salixj Yeah, but I've read so many, I didn't want to focus on that. I always found the industrial age to be fascinating, because that is when we figured out factories and there was this massive disruption.
I also liked the idea of a young woman defeating a psionic toad with engineering (my first novel written in the world). :)
