I have to work late tonight and need a tiny pick-me-up.
For every like/boost, I'll give a brief summary of one novel/novella that that exists in my master arc for Fedran.
(Plus it will help me flesh out my master arc connections.)
Pack Daughter: Sequel to Flight of the Scions. Kaneko convinces her father to let Maris, the dog girl, go to the military magic academy in her place since Kaneko doesn't have magic. He does but only if Kaneko goes with and finds a proper crew to pilot the airship she claimed after Sinmak died.
There, they find out Maris is a true archmage (can use almost all common and uncommon powers) but the guy in charge doesn't seem to be teaching her anything useful.
Cow: A woman with anger management issues and the ability to increase her strength and mass accidentally kills someone. She is given the choice of joining the Kormar army or be imprisoned.
She doesn't deal well with army choice. Eventually, her squad is sent to deliver her to the military prison.
Along the way, they are ambushed by raiders. Because she is in chains, they free her but only after she proves herself by killing her lover.
Then she has to choose to help her country or herself.
Shield Maiden: A young woman is paralyzed in a farm accident. During the moment, she manifests the ability to create a defensive shield. This is a useless power for the farm so eventually she is sent to the city to no longer be a burden.
There, she struggles to find her place in a world that doesn't allow her injuries. The attempts to give her a magical mecha fail so she becomes wheelchair bound.
Eventually, she stumbled into a plot to kill the Silver Queen.
