The more I do with #Javascript, the worse the language seems to be. Not a single part of the language seems to be well thought out. It even makes #PHP (7) look like a beacon of light.

what do you use instead?
@dk My preferred language for personal projects these days is #Perl6. But for university or work I'll use whatever is needed (insofar possible, Swift and C#/.NET are quite the pain since I require a whole different OS for those, and I'll go the extra mile to avoid those).
