@tisch Oh, right.
I thought of the flower and went "In late September?"

@tisch I tend to feed anyone who does the dishes.
Would homemade strawberry jam clinch the deal? Butter& whipped cream?
Fattening them up for 1-2 hours gardening - fresh air and excercise is healthy (it's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)

Going to bribe the monsters w fullscale brunch tomorrow, including fresh homemade scones and choice of omelettes.
Of course, that will make them suspect I intend put them to work on the chores they skipped today.

Child labor ftw!

@GottaLaff Could be timezones. And all the minions might not have made it across yet

Found my red glasses right away so ended up digging.
And planting.
And dragging rocks and sacks of fertilizer.

About halfway through my lower back founded a workers' collective and started picketing me, with bullhorns & vuvuzelas.
I struck a deal: easy chores the rest of the day and a long hot soak, and we'll finish tomorrow.
Having tea and reading about prehistoric warfare I can hear the back muscles grumble faintly.

Victim blaming 101, Puerto Rico isn't doing enough for itself. This after claiming "WE" can't help because "THEY" are too hard to get to since they are surrounded by lots of water,

@jannamark Sparrow hawk/sparvhök is the local name. It has a brown patterned back and a white-brown rippled front.

@ottawa What a sweet furface. I wish we could have a cat or a dog but due to allergies it's a no go.

Feeding the garden birdies. 10 kilo suet&insect pellets with another bag stored on the porch.

It's because there's a very beautiful and hungry hawk living in the park one street over, and it needs the drive in restaurant. octodon.social/media/pinX6Tydg

@ckeen @Stonekettle

Going to have to save my grounds and not put them in the compost bin.
You mentioned roses, and they like alkaline soil. Same thing w bananas?

@koogrie
Were you sniffing or trying to taste the sauce?

Looking at the profile pic, I realise my red glasses are missing. Spending Saturday looking for them means not having to do chores, right?
As in gardening.
As in digging in compact mud in 50F.
For several hours.

My back votes for finding the glasses instead. I haven't reminded it that snow shovelling season is just around the corner. *shhhhh*

Still a bit confused by mastodon. This could possibly be due to tooting at 4am, or to never quite getting the hang of twitter.
Either tea or a few more hours sleep may help.

Well fed. Relaxed. Late evening. New social platform. What could possibly go wrong?
