If you tell someone "use X" and X doesn't have instructions they can successfully follow, X is not available for them, regardless of hardware or OS support.
Get this in your head, free software isn't free if people can't use it. Lower the bars to adoption, help your community to install, or acquire services, don't just shame them for being unable to use Free Software. Bare lists of software that exists aren't nearly enough.
We already know there are shackles, we already know that keys to those shackles are somewhere else.
Instead, help people to navigate the complexity and difficulty of freeing themselves.

It's time to decide.
Do we as a community allow our future to depend upon commercial interests of a company that to this day spreads FUD and minimizes our impact when it suits their plans?
Or do we step up, do what we do best and take our code to somewhere created by the us for us and the good of the community?
This isn't about hating Microsoft. It's about loving our own sovereignty and controlling our *own* future.

MS are a bit stinky, but I'm not moving off GitHub preemptively. They can prove themselves to be decent or bad custodians of the platform, and git repos are inherently decentralised anyway. When the time comes, I can always jump (and so can you, and that makes the time less likely to come).
