3 days of lower GI cramps, fever, fatigue, muscle soreness, voice totally screwed... it seems like its mostly over today, I'm probably now recovered from the J&J vaccine I received Saturday.

@deafferret That sounds rough, much worse and longer than I've heard to be expected. I wonder if there was something specific about the microchip that you received compared to others?

vax

@deafferret I probably shouldn't joke, people will think I'm being serious about microchips in the vaccine.

vax

@gabek @randomgeek ya, I guess in ~3% of cases the vaccine symptoms can last *more than a week* so umm... I'm somewhere between "oof, the vaccine hit me harder than lots of people who got actual covid-19" and relief that I'm probably NOT going to be totally f'd for a month or more like my brother and cousin were, let alone (hopefully) not dead like 2.8M other people so far... yay? :/ yup, yay. I'm going with yay.

vax

@deafferret @randomgeek It's certainly a yay. Glad you're feeling better and have a bit of peace of mind to show for it.

re: vax

@deafferret Thanks for sharing post-vaccination details.

I want to get mine, but since I have minor surgery (umbilical hernia) Friday, I'm making myself wait until I recover from *that*.

vax

@deafferret Youch! Thanks for getting vaccinated and hope you really are recovered now!
