Blue Bloods S7E9 "Confessions." I just don't understand religious conviction to the "letter of the law" (religious procedural rules). If there is a benevolent God that cares about human welfare, I'm 100% sure God would want you to break "the sanctity of confession" to save a child's life.
I don't understand how people organize their beliefs in a way that doesn't reach that conclusion.
If the rules lead to evil, the rules are wrong. Break them. Duh.
