Would be a pretty stinking good learning exercise to build my own Mastadon instance. But oh man, probably so much more work than I think. And I think a LOT.
@calvin Yeah, it would probably be very educational and fun, but I agree that it could get pretty intense pretty quickly. Also, I don't know if I could devote the proper time to running one and being a good admin.

@daveskull81 Yeah, would definitely have to be a group effort from the start. But I imagine that would be some amazing real world application experience there.
