I shaved my chest for the first time tonight.

A. The shower ended up looking like I'd skinned a skunk.
B. Do not like

#Mutt remains one of (if not THE) sanest email clients I've ever seen, and that's coming from a guy who spent 3/4 of his life on Windows

Another detour into other people's Silhouette files, to make a birthday card for my father-in-law. Which also folds flat for mailing, albeit in a simpler way. (Although it's called a "box" card it is just four sides, no top or bottom, with a couple of insert pieces that run parallel to the front/back to give it a nifty dimensional effect when it's set up. I could do this for the houses, and probably will for simpler "background" buildings.)

I think The Tedeschi Trucks Band is a marvel. This is a fine interview with Derek Trucks: relix.com/articles/detail/the_

and even though it is literally two pieces of wood screwed to a larger piece of wood, I enjoyed making it more than anything I've done in technology in years.

It's to hold a thing that my kid was supposed to have made for his school project on Islam and Christianity. My wife made it though.

But I suppose if anyone questions its provenance, we used our things to make him too.

After doing more testing, I decided to go ahead and provide shared hosting for Mastodon instances.
This will be a trial but unless something goes horribly wrong, I believe that I can price it at €5/month for an instance of up to 100 users.
This can greatly diminish the cost of running small instances and remove the technical barrier from everyone who wishes to run their own Mastodon Instance.
Let me know what you think masto.host/#pricing-table

Motherfucking goddammit!!

WHY PRINCE??

For my generation it was supposed to be Kurt Cobain.   FUCK that no-talent shitstain.

Prince dying was a billion times worse.

That Chris Whitley sure do like Montana

I mean, that's EXACTLY how the soundtrack of Purple Rain works.

Starts with - Let's Go Crazy

which is like pure musical smack

UUPPPPPP

and ENDS with

Purple Rain

that SLOW haunt
vocals LIVE, some strings dubbed in
Doc on the keys

do WN

Why did Prince have to die???

I just figured out how to run with next's weeks theme for Bytes Into The Void - The FARK Radio Hour

Ups and Downs

It WILL include "Sometimes It Snows In April"

So, while I was sleeping, the admin of mstdn.jp accepted a job offer from Niconico's parent company Dwango. He says there are no plans to merge mstdn.jp with friends.nico; but it does mean that both the two largest instances (which now are significantly larger than any others, no longer roughly the same as #3 and #4) are connected with Japanese media companies.

Also, mstdn.jp's total number of posted items is set to outstrip .social's soon, despite being a very much younger instance.

I have little confidence I can get a Mastodon instance running on Dreamhost. My lack of skills.

I've got GNU Social running now (dorkodon.social). But I don't like the themes available and am too lazy to write my own.

Hubzilla? Looks promising and I like the design.

Anyone have experience running a Hubzilla instance?
