@kensanata no chorals, but take a look at Max Richter's neoclassical Œuvre (e.g. his Blue Notebooks for a start), which is quite suitable for rmelacholy.
As for the real classics, Händel or Telemann should do finde, but they are more cheerful most of the time.
As for the hardened atheist heart that's fine as it is, IMHO.

Are you using Postgres? Then you might want to take a look at the
"PostgreSQL 9 Admin Cookbook" whose ebook version is freely available today at https://www.packtpub.com/packt/offers/free-learning
@gargron Amazon payments works without a credit card too. I use it to pay for e.g. Humble Bundles.
@kensanata @stefanieschulte
Not just Atom feeds, you can "wget https://octodon.social/@kensanata" too (but I'm sure you knew that already). If I find some spare time (hah ;-/) I'll wrap the retrieval into a perl script ...
@stefanieschulte @kensanata This inacessability of data is one of the reasons I heavily dislike bulletin boards too.
G+ offers a takeout (at least, although the formatting seems to change every other hour) and Mastodon offers a similar means via simple HTTP access. So I can grep my data. And it even allos me to grab your stream, which isn't possible on G+.
The decline of #Livejournal is an important lesson about user #privacy on sites. Sure the site might be friendly today, but they might be bought out later and the new owners have all your old data.
There's a chance some Russian #LGBT people organised & hung out on #LJ 15 years ago, and now all that data is available to #Russia today 😨
These tech companies are keeping all our data forever (to make money), and it's a bad thing.
Remembering Marvin Minsky
Regarding recent AI discussions:
https://www.edge.org/conversation/marvin_minsky-remembering-minsky and https://www.edge.org/conversation/marvin_minsky-chapter-8-smart-machines with lots of comments on him by other luminaries of our time.

@stefanieschulte @jjg Werner Koch isn't a fan of usability either ;-/ That's one of the reasons why GnuPG isn't (and won't be) ready for the masses.
I haven't made up my mind yet myself. But there are nice features, like https://keybase.pub/ for authenticated file sharing, IIRC.
BTW: securitymastod.one asks for keybase credentials:
https://securitymastod.one/@r4stl1n/88162
@stefanieschulte @jjg take a look at keybase.io for an alternative key discovery tool.
The classic key servers suck (and have been misdesigned from the start, IMO).
@Jawoodward @oliof @dredmorbius @gideonro @dredmorbius no, tab hoarding isn't bad. OK, you're not a programmer, but anyway. Here's a paper: http://clivethompson.net/2016/09/27/on-the-cognitive-value-of-having-a-bazillion-tabs-open-on-your-browser/
remember: mastodon is as good as we make it, so if you want to read interesting things whenever you come here, start posting interesting things yourself and start interacting with interesting people.
@oliof @dredmorbius @gideonro @Jawoodward @dredmorbius I tend to ignore all those pesky apps meanwhile. Because browsers are more flexible (bookmarking, cut/copy/paste of relevant text, rarely possible in most apps), multiple tabs (on tablets too, not just on desktops) and most apps tend to be too nosy anyway.
@dredmorbius the same holds for battlefield AI. Just don't do it.
