Between 2 and 2.5 years ago, depending on whether you look at or I announced the Spritely project. I hedgingly joked while asked to describe it that it's "well, vaporware, mostly".

With the upcoming release of Goblins and its support for real distributed programming (on a mutually suspicious network, even) we'll be approaching the point where it'll be fair to say that Spritely is very much so *not* vaporware, is demonstrably interesting
