@keverets I just checked and it's not as expensive as I thought it was, but definitely a lot more than if I just bought another used thinkpad. the big question is: can I use a laptop that doesn't have the little nub mouse? the touch pad looks nice but it's still a touch pad.
@dthompson @keverets It really was the freezing once a day problem that was what was killing my productivity and left me temporarily back on the Thinkpad. Again, I think it was a hardware issue *specific to my laptop*, but I was in conversations with tech support and they asked me to try a few things and I just never got around to it so I still haven't sent it in.
I doubt others are having the freezing problem, so... I *would* recommend it; I *loved* it otherwise. But you asked, so...
