There's no indication that this will be any different to the long list of "alternative" social networks I've signed up to (ello, Peach, Google+ lol) but hey let's see how this goes I'm technically a social media professional in the rl wrld so I should be an early adopter just in case. Ooo this character limit is weird though. I'm getting weird and long winded like I HAVE to use it because I CAN and IT'S THERE MMM DELICIOUS CHARACTER SPACE (I rarely post to FB so I'm used to the 140 bird website)
@mcccclean haha yeah, like I became unnecessarily good at it, legit put-this-on-my-resume-level tweet-editing skillz. Taught me the value of brevity! The amount of workshopping that went into some tweets to make them a) fit 140 and b) be punchier! ahh. anyway. this is weird but let's see
@cristina right! I am already missing the thrill of going through a joke and changing words to shorter synonyms to get exactly 140. Well... not missing, exactly. It was satisfying in the same way that vacuuming up a bunch of audible grit is: good but you'd still prefer the grit weren't there in the first place.
