I guess one of my main questions is if it's bad to use an account for publicizing blog posts. Social faux pas, maybe?

I'd be honored if you'd check out Pervert Justice. It's not well-read, but I like to think it has value commenting on issues of race, gender, law enforcement, jurisprudence, legislation, politics, and general justice.

How does one generally get to know people around here? Just reading the Home timeline?

@cripdyke @CountZero There's a natty acronym for "maintain your work on a server you control, link to it on the social platforms", but I can't remember it.

Personally I like the links that have almost summary text, not teasers. THat makes it feel less spammy to me, less emotionally exhausting and less of a unilateral use of my attention.
