I'd like to ask the Wikipedia editors to lay off deleting "unnotable" game designers. Just because you have no idea how games are made doesn't mean that other folks wouldn't like to know more about these folks.

@craigmaloney Ah, the old notability debate. I don't agree with the deletionist approach.

(But I'm also not involved in the Wikipedia community as an editor. I just read articles.)

@liw @craigmaloney TBH a lot of this BS is personal and the mods are totally unaccountable. There's one with a vendetta against voice actors even if they've got a dozen notable roles to their credit. It only takes one with an opinion and free time to make sure a page doesn't get to exist.

@craigmaloney What, what counts as "notable" is totally arbitrary. Who wants to start People-pedia, where anyone can put bios regardless of some arbitrary measure of notability. I would have loved to know more about some of my ancestors.

@craigmaloney I really don't understand the "Someone took the trouble to enter this info into the encyclopedia, but I don't care about it so I'm going to delete it," attitude of a lot of wiki editors. Do they realize how many people get their first contributions deleted or reverted and never come back to contribute again. (This guy, for one.)
