@craigmaloney Well, actually I think you're right.

It's a lot easier to build a protocol than a service.

@craigmaloney Best approach is both having a protocol *and* a fully-baked implementation of it, lay the groundwork for longevity and expansion not just technically but also by letting any user start using it immediately.
