I really find Andy Warhol rather boring. Even when he was "interviewing" Frank Zappa in a show with his name on the title he was little more than furniture in the room.

If there was ever an artist that was retroactively dubbed a genius because folks wanted to feel cool it would be Andy Warhol.

You can say that he created pop art and poked fun at commercialism but if it had been anyone other than Andy Warhol you'd call it derivative and uninspired.
