Y'know, I do want a virtual "safe space". I want a place I feel welcome, and somewhat confident in my personal safety.
There are parts of town I avoid, and certain businesses I don't step in because I don't feel comfortable being there.Maybe it's the crowd, maybe it's the vibe, maybe it's a thick cloud of smoke and music I can't appreciate.
The cool part is, if I change my mind and WANT to risk it or be exposed to that, they're still there. I know where they are.
