@colealtmann you like baseball more than hockey? Or you like the Phillies more than Flyers? Or both?
@AndrewLub Baseball ☺️☺️ When I was little, the baseball games (& to play baseball) were always cheaper so we were all about the Phillies (like $5/$10 tickets). Liked watching the Flyers but didn't really start going to games until HS when my uncle started offering us free tickets lol
@colealtmann ahhh the (understandable) economic approach to sports fandom :)
@AndrewLub basically 😂😂 and the Flyers were attractive to me cause when I was 7 & we were in the Finals, we were allowed to wear orange in support in lieu of our school uniform & I was all about getting out of my school uniform
@AndrewLub was it all hockey for you? (Or curling?)
@colealtmann I've always liked hockey? Don't remember it not being there. But also baseball, soccer, CFL football, curling. basketball when we got the Raptors. In summary, I like sports.
@AndrewLub I think so many Canadian biographies can start with "I never remember hockey not being there" and I love it. YAY SPORTS tho. After a slow season of baseball, I'm ready for fast hockey so it works out for me. I don't pay much attention to American football but I like our MLS team and my dad loves basketball so we go at least once or twice a season to 76ers games
@AndrewLub Bahaha they were pretty good when I was younger. Now it's just hilariously bad though so I'll take it. I'd rather awful than mediocre? Idk
@colealtmann I meant team wise! I was an excellent athlete!
@colealtmann when I played sports I always found it was easiest to be incredibly awful, more fun too
