We got kind of a late start and it got dark on us. Luckily I had a flashlight in Marlon's (my running partner/dog) backpack (he loves wearing his backpack).
But we got in a groove and I didn't want to stop. Our furthest distance this year. Just shy of a 10k.

Anybody watching the Derby?
well my father in law went ahead and mowed the yard for me...i'm thankful he did...but i was kind of looking forward to it. as odd as it sounds..i rather enjoy riding around on the mower with my headphones on.
Now that I had to take a 2 hour break to run foster dogs back and forth from the Wake county animal shelter for check ups and updates, I'm going to finally attempt to get the yard mowed. 🚜
one of my dogs just brought in a dead baby possum.
mama possum is going to be pissed.
