A small child pulled the fire alarm in the school where my office is today. Thankfully I was around, because I was the only one in the building who knew how to shut it off!

@kirkman you just silenced the alarm the alarm is still active you just can't hear/see it. you need to hit ack then reset it the system. did you reset the pull station? sometimes you need a special key to get it. sometimes just an Allen wrench.
@kirkman I would call them and get them to give you the access to reset the system from the annunciator. typically I find that most of our customers know where the Ann is and can reset it, but a lot have no idea where there FACP is.

@churley79 I took that photo while we were resetting the pull station, before going back to the main panel to do the reset (the alarm company didn't give us the annunciator passcode when they installed the system a couple of years ago).
