My favorite thing about Hercule Poirot is that there is an extremely painstakingly specific description of his physical appearance in every single book and so many adaptations just fucking completely ignore it


Let Poirot be small and fussy with an egg shaped head

@checkervest That loose adaption of the ABC Murders for Netflix with John Malkovich as an older Poirot was very good. I don't think he gave a perfect physical match, but he played all the mannerisms in a very understated way that really worked for me.
