Do you have reason to believe that maintaining a permanent paracosm (a vivid inner world) is a drain on one's personal psychic/energetic resources, such that it would be harmful to have one? Or perhaps only harmful to have a very large/detailed one?

I've read a couple of occultists who thought it was important for these to be only small or makeshift in order to keep it from being harmful. I've spoken to other occultists who believed it was important and necessary for an occultist to maintain a permanent one, and didn't dream of any risks. Paracosms appeal to me, but I want to be informed about the risks... if occult experience can even be universal enough to agree on details like that. What's your experience with this?
