So I'm looking at villager trading in #Minecraft while decompressing from a Thing earlier.

- Fletchers buy string and sell arrows and bows. They also help you grind gravel into flint, but that's something they need anyway.
- Shepherds buy wool and sell shears… ? And then they sell colored wool.
- Farmers… buy crops… and then sell you bread and pies and cookies and cakes. Isn't that… a baker?
- Librarians buy paper and books, that sounds good. They sell books and even whole bookshelves, okay, that's a remainder sale, isn't it? I like that.
- Priests buy rotten flesh… what are they going to do with it? I guess maybe that's a funerary practice, or studying zombies to cure them or something. They buy gold, okay, that's reasonable, they're going to use it to make religious decorations. Sell rarer materials… not sure about that.
- Smiths buy coal, iron, and diamonds, and sell armor, tools, and weapons made from it, that's good.
- Butchers… buy raw meat and coal… and sell cooked meat? Isn't that more like a barbecue shop?

Some of these careers seem misnamed. c..c

Going to be streaming some _Enter the Gungeon_ in… probably like 30–45 minutes after doing another thing? My bitrate is going to be horrible for an action game (I've only got ~1 Mbps up…), but I just… feel like this has to be a thing.

It's the right kind of game, it's the right kind of theme, today is being forced to be mostly a free day. I might as well let people watch, yes?

@zebratron2084 ... I was probably supposed to be learning important lessons about friendship and teamwork and asking my parents to buy toys, instead of trying to reverse-engineer fantasy weapon systems. Wasn't I. >.>

@zebratron2084 Laser rifles never ejected casings or needed ammo refills or recharging. I could see an argument for retconning/reusing the M16 hardware, build high-densisty chemical batteries into the magazines or clips and turn the entire bolt assembly into a single resonator gas laser assembly (CO2, trace elements argon for good side, neon for bad side for the glow effects), but just hang a lampshade on it or something!

People ask me why I have never made a serious effort to learn lucid dreaming. Part of the reason is that my dreams tend to be vivid and detailed and interesting and coherent enough it almost seems ungrateful.

The other part is that /every time they have expressed an opinion on the matter, that opinion is 'NO'/

Suddenly I "wake up" in a car, being driven to a military base where they want me to investigate something. I must have dozed off.

I mention to the driver that I almost had a lucid dream but got kicked out at as soon as I realized.

Driver: "For the best, you'd probably mess with something that was none of your business."

Dreamed I was at a military base, called in as an outside advisor to inspect what looked like a haunted network.

I took a dislike to someone who seemed a bit of a weasel and mentioned to my assistant, "That guy's a sneak. He acts like he has to see everything in the world that goes on."
Assistant: "So do you, sir!"
Me: "Yes, but I'm dreaming this. If I don't see things they don't end up happening, so I have an excuse.'

…

Realization dawns. I'M DREAMING, I try and will the area a bit cleaner
