I use GuixSD myself on several machines, and should probably publish the configuration, but I haven't yet...

right. The file I managed to use is not that different from the desktop.tmpl example

I'll give up on the customized slim-service for now, I can't mke it work

I managed to submit 2 bugs about Gnome anyway
