mostly in that it's really easy to fuck up and really hard to figure out how you fucked up and how to fix it

i feel slightly bad for making a pull request for all these rust ports given there's only one person on the project capable of evaluating them
but
they wanted a version in every language 🤷

the only two times i've gone "wow this is slow" in rust, running it with --release made me stop saying that

it's rediculous how much faster rust is with release flags

it's really weird that pull requests reference the entire branch instead of just a particular commit

making pull requests is stressful 😓
