uhhhhhh
....
huhhh
this is the corresponding render
weirdly it decided to use less frames right in the middle where it's most complex so i think it might be doing the exact opposite of what i want
each point is a frame
there's a slight bend in it near the middle where it used less frames but this is almost linear
hmmmmmm that probably means this was a bad metric for how different the two images are?
color, now 50% more on brand
in glorious 30 frames per second
hey look i implemented a global exposure so it doesn't flicker
this actually took longer to encode to mp4 than it did to render
yeah holy crap that's way better
it now assigns colors based on the gradient of the fractal
so areas that change rapidly get more colors
through the magic of c o n v o l u t i o n s
oh hey that's like slightly better
look at this cheeky bastard
what are they doing here?
no really is this an intentional change? i hate it
see this is somewhat clearer but just not as pretty imo
julia set is hard to color
very washed out unfortunately
now intimate and colorful
now with more frames
these are all julia sets of the form z_{k+1} = c sin(z_k) btw
zoomed out
hooooooly shit
@Vann
whenever i see moby dick i think of you now
