So the only FFXII:TZA trophy I still don't have is Mist Walker, and I am NOT looking forward to grinding that one.
This week is already not starting well, if my email inbox is anything to go by.
I just saved myself $45/month in the last 15 minutes by looking through my bank statement and canceling 3 subscriptions I don't use. Go me.
The phone situation* in our house has become unbearable, and so I have just ordered a Pixel 2. Lord, have mercy.
* Husband still has a Galaxy S3. It's dying. He won't buy a new phone for himself and insists on inheriting my Galaxy S6 while I get a new phone. I don't like the Galaxy S8.
Look, you are wasting your time by emailing me directly to fix your problem, because once I waste the 30 seconds it takes me to see that you never bothered to even try the normal channels first, I'm just going to email you back and tell you to do that first. All you've done is waste both our time. Call the damn helpdesk first.
Some of you may remember me raving about beta reading my friend's novel a few months ago. (It's fantastic!)
She and her co-author Karen Healey (who has won actual awards and stuff) have decided to go the self-publishing route.
(I guess overtly feminist high fantasy with complex characters was a tough sell to publishers)

It's not just free money, an e-book copy is one of the backing rewards.

I woke up pretty easily today, with a good amount of energy. This usually means that something is going to punch me in the gut around noon.
Making peace with yourself is the most difficult thing. It's easy enough to throw up your hands and not care, but that's just apathy.
Yay for 7am calls! I'm totally on top of my game before the sun comes up, and am not likely to murder anyone at all!

So my bank has decided that trying to buy a gift card for a baby shower and also pre-order a 2018 planner all in the same day is a pattern of uncharacteristic purchases. #technicallycorrect but #notfraud
