This is what happens when I'm bored, since middle school or so. I don't know why. I also can't do it without lined paper for some reason. #art #stupidmeatbrain

I really dislike labels, to the point where I don't even want to describe myself to people. I get why they're useful to some people, but I don't like reducing my identity in that way, because it gives people only a small part of the picture, and they usually make incorrect assumptions.

The jeans I've been buying for the last 5ish years (Chaps Daniella Curvy Fit) appear to have been discontinued. They fit me so perfectly that rather than look for a replacement, I am looking into learning to sew so I can make my own copies.

I ran out of my allergy meds a few days ago and have not bothered to get more, so I have an obnoxious headache today. This is not very strange in itself. What IS a bit strange is that... well, the auras I see are normally white or yellow, but today they are mostly pink, with some blue and green. Yay.

Ridiculous ignorant thing that upsets me #4741: People photographing those sheer Edwardian gauze dresses (or reproductions thereof) with nothing (or almost nothing) underneath. THEY DIDN'T WEAR THEM LIKE THAT. THEY HAD LIKE 3 LAYERS OF FABRIC UNDERNEATH.

Go to bed on time, get rewarded at 3am with a splitting headache. Oh well.

Whew, he wasn't offended. Crisis averted.

Argh I just phrased something terribly in a work email and am dying while I wait to see whether or not anyone is offended.

So apparently there's a special level of limbo for production software running on beta configurations. Nobody wants to touch this thing with a ten-foot pole.

I went way too long without buying any new bras, and forgot what a tight band feels like. Yay for actual support, but RIP my ribs.

So after reading this (http://lithub.com/men-explain-lolita-to-me/ -- CW for sexual assault on that) I decided to finally read Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Honestly I was able to dissociate a bit as I read Lolita, but this one is hitting a little closer to home.

Ignis in Japanese: that bookish guy who likes to do things The Right Way, fastidious about making a good impression.
Ignis in English: the butler; also inexplicably sounds like he grew up in a completely different country than his childhood besties.
I get why they did it, but that doesn't mean I approve.

My husband, yesterday: Can you finish the ice cream tomorrow? We need the freezer space. Also there's still leftover lasagne and brisket we should eat.

My husband, today: I went to the Vietnamese bakery and bought you a banh mi and 3 custard tarts for dinner.
