@sydneyfalk Every step takes you closer, no matter how small :) I've been losing contests for a while, but looking back I'm a far better creative today then I was before. They say the first million words you write are trash, which can be seen as demoralizing, but what it really means is that you eventually get there, but you've got to work at it a while.

And yeah! More visibility, more feedback. Focus on your successes. Getting lost in what you don't have leads to madness

I didn't play a lot of Papers Please, but one thing I noticed was even if you let people in illegally, it's still implied by the demerits that the government found them and got rid of them (at least, that's what it felt like). I felt the same way from the tracking of your success in this game. Did you consider allowing for more covert resistance?

@Myrkskog I mean, we'll have no freedom and thought will likely be outlawed but at least we won't be chasing capital and material possessions anymore.

And tbh they'll probably have better policies on the environment. You know, self-sustainability and all.

At least when AIs gain sentience and enslave humanity they won't be serving corporate shareholders anymore.
