Librarians have been organizing data AND DELETING SENSITIVE PRIVATE DATA as a no brainier since olden times.
Hm, nagios
If I have N disks in a jbod cluster, and all the check disk plugins I find check one disk at a time, do I need to make N service calls, once for each disk? Or can I cluster several commands in a single nrpe.d/X.cfg file that all get called?
This matrix of X servers by N disks is just starting to look really really big, and there must be something more elegant.
(The smart check scripts I have found do not have single line calls when the jbod have a raid controller on them.)
@zigg It's tasty. Mild, goes really well with most anything. Easy to overeat :)
@yomimono OK, that's totally awesome!
oaxaca cheese
omnomnomnomnomnom BURP
BUUUUUUUURP
mmmmm
MFW i copy a graph and it leaves behind the x/y axis and notation b/c that's added with javascript or something >.<
@MissSnarkerson I think I'll take it and run with it 🐵
@generica not once ontap 8 made it in. prior to that it totally behaved like a linux box, right down to export files. now it's a vs ex rules and shit
I am slightly baffled but happy: got a standing desk at work. Then they asked if I wanted monitor stands to also adjust those heights. Apparently (I said yes), that then means I get new monitors which are lighter and larger than my current ones (which I was pretty happy with)... whoa... "Oh and do you want a new chair?"
Nice, but baffling!
I'm still retraining myself to type that STUPID NEW PASSWORD in... o.O
MFW I go back to my work slack channel and somehow I've typed one of my passwords on it...probably b/c mistaken window focus
...a beloved password implodes like so much dust >.<
This is my everyday.
The problem with slack at work is that I can't search through past archives, nor can I label things, etc.
Solution: Turn on all email notifs of activity, and cut and paste anything important into an unsent reply on that notification.
Then they're in my emails with all the other archival stuff I search through as needed 😣
@dumpling Wow, exactly as bad as I feared.

Seriously. What keeps me from doing something like putting tabs on an address I know about because I'm an asshole white male stalking my ex girlfriend??

In other words, how is the USPS verifying that you are entitled to this information? I almost feel like I need to sign up for this solely to prevent *someone else* from doing this.
@sonicbooming @alice And this goes up in exponential fashion if the toaster was a gift...
@luisroca I would not feel foolish at all! Don't forget, I have a number of other factors, among them being female and deaf, that contribute to this as well. And it occurs to me the networking that is happening is likely invaluable.
