Sure, you can tell there's a difference between heavily optimized PNG and JPG images, but the PNG will load faster and as long as people can click the PNG to see a nicer JPG it's all good.

@starbreaker Nope. No one deals gracefully with it. It's fugly fugly fugly. I can't copy and paste it anywhere (even within the google ecosystem). GAH. And google has a tendency to convert all its displayed images to webp whenever possible... I hates it...
