Does anyone have an idiots guide for Mastodon that will help me understand all the tabby things & UI?
Oh its easy:
Home: all the peeps you follow specifically, and their boosts
Notifications: all the interaction with your toots
Local Timeline: the public toots of your specific instance
Federated timeline: all the toots of all the instances connected to yours.
TOOTS
add picture (+description)
Privacy level : public, public but unlisted, followers-only, mentioned users only
Content Warning: for labeling content and hiding the body.

@briecs @Mainebot You can also select the visibility of your media:
Once you upload a picture you'll see an "eyeball" for whether the media should be seen by default or requires a click in order to see.
If you add a Content Warning to a toot it will automatically mark any media as sensitive.
