Trump the Liar (And Now the Racist Also) doesn't want people from 'shithole countries' to move to the US, prefers Norwegians. The internet responds: "why would Norwegians want to swap their beautiful country for the US?" Isn't that sort of reinforcing Trump's point?
It only reinforces his racism imo. Why would Norwegians choose corruption and lack of health care?
@generica You are suggesting that these are deal breakers. The reinforcement is in how comparing the US to shithole countries, you are enforcing the idea that there is such a thing as a shithole country. And if there is such a thing as a shithole country, then why wouldn't the president of another country try and bar their emigrants?
The implied meaning of a shithole country is poor and non white. The language is suited to his base.
@branko I think the point is that under the Republican Party (it isn't just Trump) the US is fast becoming one of those shitholes whose immigrants (and tourists) nobody else wants.

trump goes wrong by saying that people from shitty countries shouldn't be helped and accepted in a (possibly) less shitty country, as to protect themselves first they'd rather not risk helping anyone.
