I'd always thought that the Harlem Globetrotters were a real team but apparently they are the basketball equivalent of wrestlers and it's all kayfabe? Futurearma has lied to me.
@stolas yep they were a real team originally but over time morphed into entertainment. I suspect that had to do with mid-20th century white Americans not wanting to spend money to see white teams lose in real games.
