I've had a look at Mastodon on #Android and want to know what your best recommendations are. Too much choice and not enough information for me to make a decision.
@bluebec I'm using Twidere and I highly recommend it. Tusky has an 1 anti-feature: its upstream code is not entirely free. Twidere, on the other hand, is 100% free and open source. Only con I found in Twidere is that you can't post toots that are longer than 500 characters.
Also, I've been informed that the Play Store version of Twidere has the in-app-purchase crap. If you don't want that then you can download it from F-Droid.

@bluebec Another tip: In the 'mastodon site' field, enter "octodon.social" (w/o quotes). For some strange reason the app doesn't accept the full address. Well, in my case it didn't. Happy tooting.
