@lutoma Maybe the solution: Put the full URL of the toot in the search bar on /web. It shows the toot and I could boost/fav it.
Is there any way to boost/fav a toot that isn't on my instance yet? Or a way to manually sync it?
Following the person syncs their future toots, but I don't necessarily want to follow (and it doesn't help for past toots either).
I have complex thoughts about Mastodon but I'm extremely glad it's being built from the ground up as a _protocol_ rather than as a service. We need more protocols on the internet these days.
