@MRensema I've not seen that one, though I have seen his Macbeth, Throne of Blood. I think that even has bits of dialogue quoted from the play by I may be misremembering that.

There's too much Kurosawa I've not seen and I should do something about that.

@lexjay I've not had any tea today, no wonder I feel bad! *goes to make tea*

sure we can complain about it but letsencrypt at least does good

a few businesses that will also profit from it make some donations and everyone gets a free and secure signature

LE made good technical choices and doesn't ask for a huge symbolic fee that will make a single asshole a millionnaire

and don't get me started on startcom it was fucking awful, paid revocations on free certs and extremely bad practices on many occasions

@schestowitz I get it from time to time, it can be terrifying. I used to get it a lot more when I listened to Portishead whilst falling asleep, soon realised that was a bad idea!

@skirts Listened to about half of it now, enjoying it so far.

@fobo It's a goodun isn't it! Had no idea they were doing a new album, nice surprise for the day.

@neither You've made me look up when I registered, I thought it was a few months ago but turns out my first full year happened earlier this month.

@cwebber I used it as a backend for docker for a while, but it really didn't perform well under load. This was a few years ago on CentOS 7 so it may have improved since then.

@skirts I had no idea there was a new Sleep album until this morning either. Is it a good one?

celebrate 4/20 by getting blazed, listening to the surprise new Sleep album, refusing to forget how disproportionately imprisoned black + brown people are for marijuana offenses, and continuing to advocate for them and for prison reform / abolition in general as marijuana becomes a big deal money making white people dominated legitimate industry, bro

@nonphatic It's service nginx stop or systemctl stop nginx. If you have systemctl you should use that, though chances are service is just redirecting you to that anyway.

@CobaltVelvet my previous job was at an ISP, one of my projects involved changing the IP addresses of our relay servers. Google was pretty easy to deal with but Yahoo was almost impossible. The worst thing was they'd keep saying that they whitelisted us but the next day we'd get blocked again. It was only because our parent company had a relationship with them that we managed to get it sorted in the end. Email is hard!

@stillinhere Like I saw someone on birdsite say yesterday, can't we just pretend he died in 1988?

@arisunz It's probably not ideal, especially if it has garlic in. If it's not a regular thing it might be allright, but cat's aren't really supposed to eat spaghetti.

Damn, Dark Souls on switch has been delayed. I was hoping to play it on a long train journey in June, going to have to get mario or something now :(

@esheep It's a lot easier for me to just download an iso over http/s than mess around with torrents, and now average connection speeds are much higher than they used to be I imagine that's the case for most people. Also with things like S3 and other CDNs it got a lot cheaper to host larger downloads, so torrenting isn't really needed.
